Study of patients with elevated levels of blood cholesterol on top of the normal

Medical researchers at the University of California, working with monkeys, are ready to provide a condition of the blood vessels identical underneath the microscope to human atherosclerosis by simply depriving these animals of vitamin B6, pyridoxine. On otherwise identical diets, monkeys that received this vitamin were found to have healthy blood vessels, whereas people who didn’t get it developed the condition described. 25th Edition for Men is a fluid, aromatic fougĂ©re fragrance with a sensuous masculine blend of fruity, herbaceous and woody notes that are forever fresh and forever lasting.
A writing within the September, 1957 issue of the Journal of the Yank Medical Association reported on a study of patients with elevated levels of blood cholesterol higher than the normal. On giant doses of nicotinic acid (one of the vitamin B advanced vitamins) 66.seven % of these patients showed a significant reduction of blood cholesterol level while not any amendment in their regular diet.
Dr. W. J. McCormick, of Toronto, Canada has written a paper that was printed in Clinical Medication in July, 1957, in that he states: Forever Aloe MPD is phosphorus-free, making it environmentally friendly. In contrast to many detergents, its anionic and non-ionic surfactants are biodegradable, therefore reducing environmental and water pollution.
. . . proof is presented in support of the theory that this disease is brought about by a nutritional deficiency, instead of surplus fat within the diet. [Dr. McCormick feels that a lack of vitamin C is essentially responsible for the tremendous amount of coronary heart disease found within the country.] Of thousands of chemical tests on human adults to determine body level of vitamin C, 90 per cent were found to be deficient. Our infants and young kids are better provided for in this respect. Nice deterioration comes from candy, soft drinks, etc., in childhood and early adult life. Tea, coffee, tobacco and alcohol more distort the nutritional pattern. Tobacco smoking, the best despoiler of vitamin C, depletes the body of the vitamin by the adrenal reaction, and therefore the toxins of the smoke have a destructive action on the stored vitamin…. Over 10 years ago it was found in clinical and laboratory tests that the smoking of one cigarette, as ordinarily inhaled, destroyed the vitamin C content of a mean orange (twenty five mgs.). In hundreds of chemical tests for vitamin C status in smokers, a traditional level of this vitamin has nonetheless to be found.
